Available to students who have completed all of Beginners Level.

  • Intermediate Form

Take your Tai Chi practice to the next level by integrating advanced principles of movement, push hands practice*, and an internal understanding of energy flow from the dantian.

For students who have taken Fundamentals and are ready to explore deeper techniques. *Note that push hands is currently only taught at live trainings & retreats.

FAQs

  • Not at all! Our Beginners Level class is perfect for those new to Tai Chi or movement practices.

  • In the beginning, the Yang Style Short Form is divided into three parts - the first third, second third, and third third - completing the entire 37-posture short form. This allows students to progress gradually and build a strong foundation at their own pace.

  • At a minimum, an open mind and perseverance. But, to enhance your journey, ensure you have a safe open space to practice (ideally a smooth surface like hardwood or ceramic flooring). You will want comfortable clothing and can choose to use tai chi shoes (cotton soled). And of course, a solid internet connection.

  • We teach tai chi live and require students to attend live so we can ensure a safe learning environment and provide gentle feedback. The teachers may choose to provide recordings of classes to their students or provide recording resources as a helpful reference for weekly practice.

  • Classes are offered based on teacher availability and training levels. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to help.

  • 50% of the fee will be refunded (less processing fees) when a student decides to end their journey with us before the 3rd class.
